Saturday I got to meet the newest arrival for a regular client of mine. I have been photographing her older daughter, Mia, since before she was born. Now Mia has a little sister...meet Skylar!

In between a family portrait of the whole crew and the pictures of Skylar, I grabbed these cute ones of Mia. She is so full of personality. She's just a treat to be around and to photograph.

This was when we Mia's Mom asked her to give us her "surprised face". Her "cold face" was one of the funniest things that I have seen in a long time. Its cuteness was un-photographable.

And now the whole family!
I hope everyone had fun with their Dads today!
By the way, The Monday Lesson will be up tomorrow but it will be much later in the day. Hope you enjoy it!
This morning I photographed one of my favorite little subjects, Jackson. This session is the last one of his First Year Collection package. I know his Mom is at work anxiously awaiting a sneak peek so this will be a nice surprise for her.

This is a funny face that he makes. He did it and everyone had a big laugh.

It's been a great year, thanks for choosing me Carey and letting me photograph your sweet boy. It's been a pleasure! Happy Friday!
Just the sweetest little thing...I love newborn sessions! I get to ooh and aaah over tiny babies (usually about 2 weeks old). I get to hold them, shush them, fawn over them, wish they were mine and then they are wooshed away in their little car seats. I even get to ooh and aah over their pictures later! I get why grandparents say that they enjoy their children's children almost more than their own. You get all the cuteness and love and you usually get a full night's sleep on top of it too. You get the fun part and less of the hard, hard work of infants and new parenthood. Today one grandmother said, "oh what a lovely job you have!" and she is so very right!
Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the Koehn boys. They were so sweet and even sweet to each other too! It's heating up up here in Houston and location shoots are about to be a thing of the past for a while. We sweated quite a bit and ran from the bright sunshine a little but we got some nice shots. Thanks guys, hope you like them!

I love this shot of them. You know, I have a soft spot for brothers because of my two little guys.
These look lovely. I look forward to making my selections. Thanks, Cynthia

What more is there to say except, isn't she just beautiful? Happy Friday!
